New Cross Country Training Course at Fernances Creek

Preparations are well underway at Fernances Creek for A Jump in the Vines. This year the Fernances Creek and Willow's Leap teams have joined forces to build a cross country training course.  There will be about 16 jumps including a small water jump, a brush, a ditch, several log jumps of varying heights, wine barrels, pipes, barrels and several portable jumps. The course will cater for encourager up to introductory but will also have a few jumps up to preliminary level.

Nutella our new haflinger stallion

Nutella is a four year old haflinger stallion. He is out of the imported stallion Necho X Mischa. He is 144 cm and has an athletic build. Several of our mare lines are now in foal to Nutella and we are looking forward to the first foals on the ground.

A real stunner: Haflinger x Australian Stud Book Pony Cross

Scarlet is an australian stud book pony X haflinger cross. She has been professionally broken in and is now being ridden by a 15 yo girl for training. She is doing flatwork, some small jump grids and some gallop work around sporting poles. She is rising 4 and is 12.2 hands (maybe bigger) and is lovely on the ground.
