Purebred Haflinger Geldings for Sale

Fernances Creek Haflinger Stud have three lovely geldings for sale. We have just had three new fillies and want to make some room in the paddock. All of the horses are purebred and were bred on our farm.

Aragon - 4 years old

We call him King Aragon because he has that "look at me" presence about him.  He has been halter and float trained. He has beautiful movement and will make a excellent riding or carriage horse. He is 4 years old and is approximately 14 hands tall. He is out of our stallion Aaron and our mare Rosebrook. He has a lovely nature and comes right up to you at any time. He has a pure white mane and tail, although is in paddock condition in the photos. We have loads of grass so he is very forward in condition. He has really good feet and is mainly on grass or hay. $4000.00 (GST inclusive) Comes with full papers and a years membership to the Australian Haflinger Horse Breeders Association. He is also microchipped.

Navigator - 4 years old

Navigator is out of the imported stallion Necho and our mare Demi. He is approximately 14 hands and has an athletic build. He is halter broken and has been on the float several times. He will make an good riding horse and would probably jump well if given the training. He would also go in a carriage. He has very good feet and does well on grass paddocks and a bit of hay. Navigator is a purebred haflinger and comes with full papers, a years membership to the Australian Haflinger Horse Breeders Association and is microchipped. He has a pure white mane and tail but is in paddock condition in the photos. $4000.00 (GST inclusive)

Wildfire - 4 years old - Experienced rider or trainer

When people see Wildfire, they always say "butter would not melt in his mouth". He is just under 14 hands and is still in training. He has had lots of training and is a very good jumper. He has a great canter and his transitions are good. He is going to make an excellent mount but needs a very experienced rider as he is green broken.  He is good to catch and float. Wildfire comes with papers, a membership to the Australian Haflinger Horse Breeders Association and is microchipped. $4500.00 (GST inclusive)

  1. Hello, I haope you might be able to help me track th eorigin of my recently acquired 19 yr old Haflinger Gelding. I have no details of his origin other than that he may have come from somewhere at the Sunshine coast area but still am not sure if this was his brithplace or just where he was obtained from a couple of owners begfore me! His name is Noughgest ( I think that is how it is spelt) his brother was Nouz or Nous! I came across you while searching for 'N' lone and found 'Navigator' ( who is gorgeous!) descending from Necho. I wondered if there may be a connection there! I live at Cedar Vale, am Social Members Day organiser at Cedar Grove and District Riding Club but no other members have Haflingers but my neighbour owns Nouz! ( by chance and coincidence!) I am just doscovering what great horses they are!! My boy Noughgest ...renamed Nugget...is a shocker , seems to hav eno training as he has no understanding of leg, seat etc, doesn't even seem to be used to a bit, however he is proving to be calm and unshockable on a trail ride ( other than seeing his first goat) but stubborn and bargy on the ground and almost impossible to persuade into trot let alone canter ( so either he has no idea or is totally shutting down from previous experiences) but I love him totally already! ( ideal for this very mature retiree) .
Any information I can get about him is so welcome ...I hav ealready had helpful suggestions from the Haflingers in Australia Breeders , and from another lady called Lesley Loxton but nothing tangible has arisen.

    Crossing fingers this time.

    Regards

    Sandie
