On the weekend, Fernances Creek Scarlet had her first official outing at Denman Horse Trials. It was a big course with brushes, water, ditches and lots of challenges and Scarlet was a champion. A little 12.2 haflinger cross pony was making it look easy against all of the large TB's. Out of all the fences, Scarlet had one refusal at a stone wall but then took it easily on the second attempt. She also had one run out on a small fence that we are still scratching our heads over but jumped it on the second attempt. The showjumping went really well. The dressage is still something we are working on. She managed a 52% which was good considering we have had very little flatwork in the lead up. Hopefully Steph will have her working over the holidays. We are giving Scarlet some time off before Lyndel takes her to Hidden Valley. Stay tuned for a new video of x country.

We will now turn our attention to Aragon who has just returned from training.
